Isle of Wight School on Lockdown after Student Falls from Balcony
An Isle of Wight School has been place into locked following a serious incident involving a student at Cowes Enterprise College this afternoon (Wednesday) Emergency services are at the scene where it is understood a female student has ‘fallen’ from a balcony.

A source has said that the girl fell from high and has been injured The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said it was called to the school at 12.10pm today (Wednesday) to reports of a female falling from a balcony. A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.57pm to reports of a teenage girl suffering serious injuries understood to be as a result of a fall from height at Cowes Enterprise College.“The injuries are not deemed life-threatening. “Officers are on scene at this time, but the circumstances are not being treated as suspicious.” More to Follow
