Man stabbed on Southampton Housing Estate Police arrest Two

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted yesterday evening (Tuesday 24 April) on Derby Road, Southampton. Officer were called at 7.19pm to a report of a stabbing. A 25-year-old man was found to have suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital. His injuries are not life threatening. Officers responding to the calls arrested two men shortly after arriving at the scene. Both men, aged 29 and 42-years-old from Southampton, are in police custody at this time. Police are aware that several members of the community tried to stop the attack and witnessed what happened.
