Tragic Fatality as Van Hits Woman in Her 70s at Kent Car Park
Shock and sadness struck Kent on Thursday 4 July 2024 after a white Ford Transit van collided with a pedestrian at midday.
Serious Crash Outside Beach Street Car Park
At around 12:05pm, the van was exiting the Beach Street car park onto Harbour Street when it struck a woman in her 70s. She suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, but tragically later died.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) has launched a probe into the crash. They are appealing for anyone who saw the incident to get in touch immediately.
