Police Scotland received a distressing report around 7 pm on Wednesday, April 17, alerting them to the presence of two individuals in the water near the Linn of Tummel waterfall, situated near Blair Atholl. Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene and commenced extensive searches in the area.
Despite valiant efforts, the bodies of the two men were recovered from the water by the diligent rescue teams.
Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances,” stated a spokesperson from Police Scotland. However, there would not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding these deaths.
