In a harrowing incident, a 35-year-old woman was brutally murdered in Worsley, Greater Manchester, with her young children tragically witnessing the attack. Greater Manchester Police have launched a murder investigation following this devastating event.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, November 10, around 2:40 am. Police responded to reports of a seriously injured woman at Dukesgate Grove in Little Hulton, Worsley. The victim, discovered by her two young children, suffered a fatal stab wound to the chest. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
Detective Chief Inspector Gina Brennand of GMP’s Major Incident Team described the attack as “truly horrific,” emphasizing the traumatic experience for the young witnesses.
