Man Nabbed in Early Morning Met Drug Sting

A 29-year-old man was arrested during a dawn raid in Ruislip as part of the Met’s crackdown on crime using encrypted devices.

£20,000 Cash Seized in Police Raid

Officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command swooped on a Royal Crescent address in HA4 on Thursday, 4 February. The operation, known as Operation Eternal, targets criminal networks exploiting encrypted tech.

During the search, cops uncovered around £20,000 in cash. The suspect was charged with supply offences and possession of criminal property before being hauled into custody.

“The detrimental impact of drugs offences is felt throughout London,” said Detective Sergeant Jo Ross, who led the raid. “Our team is dedicated to ensuring those committing offences using encrypted devices are brought to justice. This highlights the Met’s commitment to tackling high level offenders.”
