Teen Stabbed and Robbed in Shocking Street Attack
Stabbing on Avenue Road Shakes Town
Drama unfolded late on Thursday, 9 February 2023, when a teenage boy was stabbed during a clash on Avenue Road around 10.30pm. The victim was left injured and his phone snatched in the scuffle.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest
Rushed to hospital for treatment, the teen’s stolen phone was soon recovered by officers. The Kent Crime Squad launched an investigation and quickly arrested a 16-year-old boy from Herne Bay.
Serious Charges Filed
The suspect now faces multiple charges including robbery, intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of a flick knife, and cannabis possession.
Next Court Date Set
He appeared at Folkestone Youth Court on Monday 20 February and was granted bail. The case will continue at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday 3 March.
