Man Charged After Attempted Murder in Crawley
A 19-year-old man has been charged following a shocking attack in Crawley.
Serious Assault on Lansbury Road
Police raced to Lansbury Road just after 9pm on Friday, November 11, after reports of a violent assault. A young man, aged 19, was found with potentially life-threatening injuries.
He was airlifted to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Suspect Known to Victim
Officers say this was an isolated incident and the victim and attacker knew each other.
Cedric Perrine, 19, of Petworth Court, Crawley, has been charged with attempted murder, assault by beating, and a racially aggravated public order offence.
Legal Proceedings and Appeal for Witnesses
Perrine appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court on Monday, November 14, and was remanded in custody. He is set to appear at Lewes Crown Court on December 12.
