Man Wanted Over Tiger Moth Pub Fire Attack
Police are hunting a man caught on CCTV who could hold vital clues about a fire that badly damaged the Tiger Moth pub on Highview Drive.
Molotov Attack Sparks Blaze
The blaze erupted around 11:15pm on 5 May 2022 after two fuel-filled glass bottles were hurled at the pub’s doorway. Customers were still inside when the fire broke out, blocking the entrance. Firefighters and police rushed to the scene. Thankfully, nobody was hurt but the pub’s entrance and interior suffered serious damage.
One Arrested, Police Seek More Witnesses
A 23-year-old suspect was arrested and remains on bail until 30 May. Now cops want to track down the man seen in the CCTV image to aid their investigation.
