County Lines Drug Dealer Locked Up for Seven Years
Aaron Clarke, the man behind the notorious Koby county line, has been jailed for seven years after a major police crackdown.
How the Cops Nabbed Him
- Clarke, 27, of no fixed address, was first spotted in August 2021 when cops seized his phone. It revealed chats about class A drugs.
- He was bailed during the probe, but officers soon found the county line was back in business.
- They swooped again in May 2022 at a Bedfordshire property, arresting Clarke and grabbing another phone with fresh drug messages.
Guilty as Charged
Following a trial at Maidstone Crown Court, Clarke was convicted of two counts relating to crack cocaine and heroin supply. Judges handed him a hefty seven-year prison sentence on January 4, 2023.
“The misuse of drugs can cause misery in people’s lives, and we are sending a very clear message to criminals that this behaviour will not be tolerated,” said Detective Constable Robert Parker from the County Lines and Gangs Team.
“There is no place in Kent for people who sell class A drugs, and we will work tirelessly to prevent those from entering the county to prey on vulnerable people.”
Kent police are cracking down hard on drug dealers, aiming to keep the streets safe and protect the community from harmful class A addictions.
