County Lines drug dealer locked up for four-and-a-half years
Ibrar Hussain ran the notorious ‘ACE Line’ from his home in the 123 area, pushing drugs to customers while hiding in plain sight.
Mobile phone leads cops to drug ring
The 35-year-old first came under suspicion on 15 September 2022 when police recovered a mobile phone linked to his operation. Further investigations confirmed the handset was the nerve centre of the drug line.
Investigation cracks down on ruthless dealer
Detective Constable Philip Langstone, head of the Force CID County Lines team, said: “County Lines drug dealers target the most vulnerable, ruining lives and blighting communities. We’re pleased Hussain has been taken off our streets and is now behind bars.”
He added, “Serious and organised crime persistently erodes communities and the gangs ruthlessly prey on those most at risk.”
