London Dealer Jailed for Running Swindon County Line
Jordan Perkins, 27, has been locked up for four and a half years after running a dangerous drugs ring from his home in London, trafficking crack cocaine and heroin into Swindon.
Crack and Heroin Peddled From Capital to Wiltshire
Perkins was the brains behind the ‘Marlo’ county line, pushing Class A drugs to vulnerable people in Swindon from his Elmworth Grove base in London.
Police uncovered his scheme during a lengthy Swindon Fortitude Drugs Team probe, which tracked Perkins making numerous trips to Swindon between April and June last year to maintain his supply.
Evidence Seized in Police Raid
A raid on June 29 uncovered a mobile phone connecting Perkins to the drugs operation and £3,000 in cash, sealing his fate.
On March 4, he was convicted of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs and handed a 4 years and 6 months prison sentence.
Strict Criminal Behaviour Order Imposed
Perkins also received a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order, banning him from owning or using more than one SIM card or mobile phone in public—cutting off his ability to run the line on the move.
Detective Sergeant Joe Shanklin said: “Wiltshire is not a soft option for dealing drugs – it ruins lives and we are dedicated to stamping it out in our communities and bringing those responsible to justice.”
Community Urged to Help Fight Drug Crime
DS Shanklin added: “We urge the public to report any signs of drug dealing, such as sudden wealth or unusual visitors, so we can continue dismantling these harmful networks.”
The operation was backed by funding from the National County Lines Coordination Centre (NCLCC), showing the level of commitment to crushing illegal drug trade in Wiltshire.
