Drug Dealer Busted with £11k Cash and £30k of Cocaine
Ryan Bragg, 21, was slammed with cuffs after the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate swooped on his Moat Lane home on Monday, 21 November 2022.
Knives, Cash and Cocaine Seized in Police Raid
Officers found two large knives, a hefty £11,000 in cash, and around 320g of cocaine – a street value of roughly £30,000.
Bragg made a desperate bid to escape through a window but was stopped and arrested on the spot.
Phone Evidence Exposes Drug Deal Network
A mobile phone seized during the raid revealed messages arranging drug deals across the city, sealing Bragg’s fate.
At canterbury/" title="Canterbury" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Canterbury Crown Court on 1 September 2023, he admitted possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
Three Years Behind Bars, More Court Dates Ahead
On 10 October, Bragg was jailed for three years at Canterbury Crown Court. Additional hearings will follow to recover his criminal profits.
Detective Sergeant Jon Saxby said: “Photos found on devices in this investigation show Ryan Bragg was a remorseless drug dealer who was happy to profit from the addictions and misery of often vulnerable people.”
