Dealer Caught Red-Handed in Dawn Raid with Drugs and Thousands in Cash
Enoch Banga’s Drug Operation Exposed
Enoch Banga ran a drug supply chain targeting users and addicts for months before police swooped on his flat in a pre-dawn raid. Officers uncovered over 120 grams of Class A drugs, including heroin and crack cocaine, along with nearly £4,000 in dirty cash.
County Lines Crackdown Uncovers Bulk Messaging Scheme
The operation, active from May to September 2022, was tracked by the West Kent County Line and Gangs Team. Investigators revealed Banga used two mobile phones under the fake name ‘Tel’ to send bulk marketing messages pushing drugs to users.
On 21 July, CCTV showed Banga topping up one phone’s credit in Swanley, solidifying police evidence of his involvement.
Arrest and Sentencing: Justice Served
At 5am on 15 September, police executed a search warrant at Banga’s flat in Sycamore Drive, Swanley, arresting the 28-year-old on the spot. Along with the drugs and cash, phones and SIM cards tied to the county line operation were seized.
Banga pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply, two counts of being involved in supply, and possessing criminal property. On 20 March 2023, Maidstone Crown Court sentenced him to five years and two months behind bars.
Detective Constable Praises Community Role
“Banga is a repeat offender who has shown complete disregard for the law. Dealers like him cause enormous suffering to individuals, families, and communities,” said Detective Constable Bex Kemp.
“This significant sentence reflects the seriousness of his actions. Our county lines teams are working hard, but the public’s help is vital — always report suspicious behaviour.”
