Manchester Drug Dealer Busted with £237k in Cash and Flash Audi
Angus McBeath from Owen Street in Manchester City Centre was sentenced this week at Manchester Crown Court. His co-defendant, Connor Turner from Crewe, Cheshire, avoided jail with a suspended sentence.
Early Morning Raid Uncovers Huge Haul
On the morning of Wednesday 8 March 2023, Greater Manchester Police executed a dawn raid on McBeath’s apartment in South Tower, Owen Street. Officers woke him with a warrant and soon uncovered a staggering £237,035 in cash.
The money was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) 2002. Alongside the cash, police found a sleek Audi RS4, paid for entirely in cash and valued at £77,000.
Cannabis Packaging Gear and Drugs Charges
Investigators also discovered two machines used for sealing packaging and thousands of empty cannabis-branded bags. McBeath was charged the next day with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis) and possession of criminal property.

“We operate across all Greater Manchester districts, committed to tackling this crime that destroys lives and scars our communities. If you deal drugs, expect to be caught and prosecuted to the fullest.”
