Drug Kingpins Busted in West Midlands County Lines Crackdown
Shaun Ali and Jermaine Lewis were at the heart of a massive illegal drug network exposed after a deep dive into phone records. Cops swooped during a County Lines Intensification Week in March, smashing operations across Birmingham, Walsall, and Wolverhampton’s outskirts.
Four Arrested in County Lines Sting
Ali and Lewis weren’t working alone. They were joined by Anil Ali and Pace Lewis, their lieutenants running street-level dealing. Anil Ali managed Walsall’s street line and handed over a cut to the ringleaders. Meanwhile, Pace Lewis closed deals to repay Shaun Ali and Jermaine Lewis.
Phone evidence revealed constant contact between the four. Further investigations confirmed all were deeply involved in the West Midlands drug empire.
Sentenced for Supplying Class A and Cannabis
All four made guilty pleas at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday (20 October). In addition to Class A drugs, Shaun Ali, Jermaine Lewis, and Pace Lewis admitted to supplying cannabis.
- Shaun Ali, 30, Old Stafford Road, Cross — 9 years jail
- Jermaine Lewis, 30, Sherlock Street, Birmingham — 9 years jail
- Pace Lewis, 23, Brewster Street, Walsall — 8 years 4 months jail
- Anil Ali, 29, Kent Street, Walsall — 6 years jail
Police say this bust has seriously disrupted the County Lines drug operation across the region.
