Back in March 2019, Mitchell stormed onto the pitch at St Andrew’s Stadium and attacked Aston Villa star Jack Grealish. The shocking incident landed Mitchell a 14-week jail sentence, though he was released after just four weeks. This week, police found Mitchell at a Birmingham property, but he has now tragically passed away.

Remembering Paul Mitchell

“Paul absolutely adored his three kids,” cousin Lucy Mitchell told The Sun. “No matter what, he always had a smile on his face. He had the most generous heart. Many people will be saddened by his passing. He was a well-liked individual. It won’t be the same without him around.”

Family Mourns

His mother Debbie Drew also paid tribute, saying, “Others saw him on Saturday when he appeared to be his normal self. Our one loved him so much.”
