Gun and Class A Drugs Seized in Medway Raids
A firearm and nearly half a kilogram of Class A drugs have been seized in Medway during a police crackdown. Two suspects are now charged with supplying cocaine and heroin following raids by the Medway Operation Raptor team.
Raids Hit Rochester and Wainscott Homes
Police struck at two properties in King Street, Rochester, and Miller Way, Wainscott, at around 11:20am on Monday 17 February 2020. Drugs were recovered from both addresses.
Officers also found a suspected handgun and seized nearly £3,000 cash during the Wainscott raid. Jamal Fournillier and Dejan Hunter were arrested on the spot.
Suspects Charged and Court Dates Set
Both Fournillier, 26, of Livingstone Road, Gillingham, and Hunter, 24, of Miller Way, Wainscott, face charges of drug supply and possession of criminal property (cash). Fournillier was remanded in custody after appearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 18 February.
Hunter was granted bail and will next appear alongside Fournillier at Maidstone Crown Court on 17 March.

Operation Raptor is a joint Kent and Essex Police initiative targeting violent crime, outlaw weapons, and Class A drug supply. The latest swoop shows the force is hitting hard against criminal gangs in the region.
