Acid Attacker Back Behind Bars After Licence Breach

Stefan Sylvestre, the acid attacker from Shepherd’s Bush, west London, is set to spend more time behind bars. Originally jailed for life in 2009, Sylvestre was released in 2018 after serving just six years—the minimum term for his monstrous crime.

Recall After Licence Breach

A Probation Service spokeswoman revealed on Sunday that Sylvestre has been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions. “We are urgently working with the police to bring the offender back to prison where he’ll face longer behind bars,” she stated.

Horrific Attack Ordered by Obsessed Ex

The victim, known only as Piper, suffered horrific, life-altering injuries when Sylvestre threw acid on her in March 2008. The attack left her permanently scarred and fighting for her life.

It was orchestrated by Piper’s obsessive ex-boyfriend, Daniel Lynch. Lynch, a steroid-fuelled martial arts enthusiast with a prior conviction for pouring boiling water on a man, was jailed for life with a minimum of 16 years. He was convicted of sexually assaulting Piper and ordering Sylvestre to carry out the acid attack.

Judge Brands Pair ‘Face of Pure Evil’

At the trial, Judge Nicholas Browne QC condemned the pair, calling them “the face of pure evil” for their cruel and calculated crimes. The men briefly dated Piper before Lynch’s obsessive jealousy spiraled out of control, leading to this brutal attack.
