Man Busted for Flashing Near Play Area in Kent
Kent Police sprang into action after a shocking incident near a play area off Butchers Lane on the morning of Saturday, 1 May 2021.
Flasher Targets Child
At 11:35am, officers were alerted that a man had approached a child and indecently exposed himself. The community was left stunned by the brazen nature of the act.
Quick Arrest and Court Appearance
By 3:40pm the same day, cops arrested Martyn Palmer, 49, from Mereworth. He has been hit with charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. Palmer faced maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 3 May, where he was remanded in custody. His next court hearing is set for 1 June at Maidstone Crown Court.
