Woman in her 40s dies in Culver Street car park – man arrested
Tragic discovery at 10pm
Police rushed to Culver Street at around 10pm on Thursday (13/04) after a woman in her 40s was found unresponsive in a car park. Emergency services tried to save her, but she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation underway as man in 20s arrested
A man in his 20s was quickly arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. He has since been bailed with strict conditions while police carry on their enquiries into the cause of death.
Community reassured: No wider threat
Officers set up a scene to investigate and have now lifted it. Police say there’s no wider danger to the public despite community concerns.
