Man Held After Olivia Pratt-Korbel Murder Shooting
A 35-year-old man, believed to be the target of a brutal shooting, is now in hospital under prison recall after breaching his licence conditions. He will be sent back to jail to finish his sentence and faces further questioning over the tragic murder. Thankfully, he remains in stable condition.
Chased Into House, Gunshots Fired
Olivia Pratt-Korbel, just a child, was killed in a terrifying attack on Monday night in Liverpool’s Dovecot district. A masked gunman chased the 35-year-old into a terraced home on Kingsheath Avenue before opening fire.
Mother Shot Trying to Protect Daughter
Olivia’s mother bravely tried to shut the door on the shooter but was shot in the wrist. The gunman fired wildly inside the house. Tragically, Olivia was hit by the same bullet as she stood behind her mother and died from a chest wound.
Gunman Wounded and Hospitalised
The attacker was also hit by gunfire in the upper body. Friends rushed him to hospital in a dark car, which police have now seized. Officers found Olivia critically injured and she was rushed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, where she sadly passed away later that day.
