Man Faces Attempted Murder Charge After Police Knife Attack

Mohammed Rahman, 24, from Westbourne Park Road, W2, was hit with serious charges on Saturday, 17 September. He’s accused of attempted murder and Section 18 GBH with intent following a violent incident involving police officers.

  • Attempted murder charge relates to a male police constable.
  • GBH charge involves a female police constable.
  • Additional assault (ABH) and two counts of threatening people in public with a bladed weapon.
  • Charges also cover three other police constables.

Robbery and Knife Possession On Top of Assault Charges

Rahman has also been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article, stacking up a serious criminal case against him.

He is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 19 September.
