Dad Charged with Murder of His Two Kids in Ilford Horror
A shocking family tragedy has rocked Ilford after a dad was charged with the murders of his two young children.
Father Faces Murder Charges
Nadarajah Nithiyakumar, 40, from Aldborough Parade, Ilford, was officially charged on Friday, 8 May, with the murders of his 19-month-old daughter Pavinya and three-year-old son Nigish.
He appeared in custody the same day at Thames Magistrates’ Court. Authorities are set to announce dates for his next court appearance soon.
Terrifying Scene at Aldborough Parade
Police responded to emergency calls on 26 April at about 5.30pm after reports of injuries to a man and two children.
- The children were found with knife wounds.
- Pavinya was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Nigish was rushed to hospital but sadly died later.
Arrest and Charges
Nadarajah was arrested three days later, on 29 April, while at a London hospital receiving treatment.
He was discharged on 7 May and charged the next day.
