Woman Found Dead in Oldbury Street – Suspect Arrested
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Hilton Road, Oldbury, after emergency services arrived just before midnight on Thursday.
Neighbour Arrested and Remanded
Legitte Reid, 55, from the same road, was arrested shortly after the discovery. She has been remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court, police confirmed.
Police Maintain Cordon as Investigation Continues
A cordon remains in place on Hilton Road while West Midlands Police carry out their investigation.

Det Insp Jim Colclough said: “Our thoughts remain with the woman’s family at this incredibly difficult time who are being supported by specialist officers.”
