Man Charged with Murder After Dagenham Attack
Airidas Janavicius, 38, from Burdetts Road, Dagenham, is set to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 26 July. He faces charges over the death of 44-year-old Marius Lakavicius.
Fatal Incident in Goresbrook Road
Police were called just before midnight on Friday, 23 July, after reports of a man suffering serious injuries in Goresbrook Road, Dagenham. Despite emergency efforts, Marius Lakavicius was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cause of Death Confirmed
A post-mortem was conducted on Saturday, 25 July, at Queen’s Hospital Mortuary. The provisional cause of death was confirmed as head injuries.
