CCTV footage showed Abdulrahman standing alone outside a block of flats when a white BMW pulled up. Two men jumped out and immediately attacked him. While the attack unfolded, the driver and passenger turned the car around, ready for a quick getaway.

The Met’s Specialist Crime Command launched an intense investigation. Mobile phone findings and CCTV linked the suspects to the murder. Carson was charged on November 20, 2018, but refused to answer police questions.
