Man Rams Ex’s New Beau with Car After BB Gun Attack
Jack Richardson, 25, sparked chaos outside the Gigmill Pub in Stourbridge last June. In a shocking rampage, he shot his ex-partner’s new boyfriend with a BB pistol before crashing his silver Volvo into him — then tried to reverse the car into the victim again.
Terrifying Attack Leaves Pregnant Woman Trapped Under Car
Richardson missed the second hit and instead ploughed into a crowd outside the pub. The blast left his ex’s new partner with a broken ankle. Two others suffered minor injuries, while a pregnant woman was trapped under the vehicle.
She underwent emergency surgery but is thankfully now doing well — along with her baby.
Richardson Jailed for Five Years After Five-Minute Crime Spree
After smashing his Volvo into the crowd, Richardson fled but turned himself in two days later. The entire violent episode lasted around five minutes.
Last Monday, 14 March, he was sentenced at 1 Crown Court to five years behind bars. Charges included:
- Two counts of grievous bodily harm
- Two counts of actual bodily harm
- Possession of an imitation firearm with intent
- Possession of cannabis
- Driving without insurance
- Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence
Richardson also received a four-year driving ban and a restraining order.
