Drug Dealer Nabbed After Suspicious Driving in Abingdon

Nocir Moulay, 27, from Whitnell Way, Wandsworth, was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court today for possession with intent to supply drugs. The Audi driver was caught red-handed after police pulled him over for shady behaviour on Preston Road, Abingdon.

Police Catch Moulay in the Act

Officers spotted Moulay driving suspiciously and saw him park near a group of suspected drug users. When he noticed the cops, he tried to drive off but was quickly stopped. A search of his car uncovered drugs and cash.

Phone Search Uncovers Drug Delivery Operation

Police found Moulay’s phone during the vehicle search. A detailed investigation revealed he was running a cannabis delivery ring. Three wraps of suspected Class A drugs were found inside the car, and another 30 wraps were recovered later.

Police Urge Public to Help Fight Drug Crime

Moulay was arrested on September 10, 2020. Detective Constable David Simpkins from Abingdon police station said, “Moulay’s imprisonment shows our commitment to targeting drug dealers in our area. Information from the public is vital to building cases like this.”
