Chaos at Marble Arch Gym: Man Tasered and Hospitalised After Erratic Outburst
Morning Mayhem at North Row Gym
Police were called to a gym on North Row, near Marble Arch, at 8:05am on Tuesday, March 7th, after reports of a man behaving wildly and trying to fight other gym-goers.
The man, in his early twenties, was quickly confronted by officers and tasered before being detained. However, during the arrest he suffered a head injury and soon became unresponsive.
Emergency Response and Hospitalisation
Paramedics and an air ambulance rushed to the scene following the injury. The man was taken to hospital, where his condition remains unclear as police await an update.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Shortly afterwards the man became unresponsive and was transported to hospital, where he remains; we await an assessment of his condition.”
Ongoing Investigation with Police Presence
Police set up a crime scene at the gym, which remains active hours after the incident. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and is overseeing the case.
An eyewitness told MyLondon: “Air ambulance just landed in Marble Arch, London, two police cars took the medics away.” He also mentioned reports of a ‘naked man’ nearby, but this has not been confirmed.
