A 28-year-old man has been locked up for a year after pepper-spraying a pedestrian in broad daylight on a busy street in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire.

Gareth Brian Roberts sprayed a noxious substance directly into the victim’s face on Charles Street on Saturday afternoon, 30th November 2019. The shocking attack took place in a bustling retail area where families were enjoying their day out.
Swift Police Action Seals Conviction
Officers quickly arrived at the scene and arrested Roberts on the spot. Police recovered the pepper spray and used body-worn camera footage and CCTV to build a rock-solid case. Roberts pleaded guilty at Swansea Crown Court this week to possession of a prohibited weapon and administering a noxious substance.
