Police Raid Uncovers Cocaine Stash and Cash
Kent and Essex Serious Crime officers swooped on a Ramsgate property on Friday, July 29, 2022. Acting under the Misuse of Drugs Act, they found a large quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine, along with a significant amount of cash.
David Priestley Fingered in Drug Supply Operation
David Priestley, 49, from St George’s Road, Ramsgate, was arrested at the scene. He now faces charges including supplying cocaine, acquiring and transferring criminal property, and possessing a class A drug with intent to supply.
Next Stop: Canterbury Crown Court
Priestley appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the next day, Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was remanded in custody and is expected to face trial at Canterbury Crown Court on August 30, 2022.
