Drug Dealer Jailed After Police Raid Uncovers Cocaine and Fake Guns
Artur Furmaniak, 46, from Melksham, has been locked up for four and a half years. He pleaded guilty to being involved in supplying cocaine at Swindon Crown Court last month.
Big Drug Bust at Melksham Home
On 29 March 2019, firearms officers, dog handlers, CID, and the Community Policing Team stormed Furmaniak’s Padfield Gardens home. They seized a significant haul of cocaine along with a large stash of imitation firearms. The evidence clearly pointed to Furmaniak’s role in the drug trade.
Police Praise Intelligence Work and Call for Community Support
Sgt Steve Edwards of the Trowbridge Response Team said: “This sentencing is the result of solid intelligence work and a successful execution of a drug warrant. If you deal in illicit drugs, we will find out and bring you to justice.
“Drugs wreck communities and fuel other crime. Taking someone who deals cocaine off Melksham’s streets is a massive win for Wiltshire Police. We urge the public to report suspicious activity or unexplained wealth — no one should turn a blind eye.”
