Murder Probe Launched After Man Found Stabbed in Pinner Park
A brutal stabbing in Pinner has sparked a murder investigation after an 18-year-old man was found fatally wounded in Montesole Playing Fields.
Tragic Scene at Montesole Playing Fields
Police were called at around 6.05pm on Wednesday, 26 August following reports of a stabbing. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene and found Daniel Bytyci from Harrow suffering from serious stab wounds.
Daniel was rushed to hospital but sadly died on Thursday, 10 September. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Police Hunt Witnesses as Two Charged
Detective Inspector Claire Hine of the Specialist Crime Command is leading the investigation. She urged anyone who was in Montesole Playing Fields that evening to come forward.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw this incident or anything leading up to it to contact police. There is currently no evidence this was gang-related.”
Chief Superintendent Roy Smith, North West Command Unit chief for Pinner, confirmed two people have now been charged.
“Our officers did everything possible to save Daniel’s life. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this tragic time.
“We will use every tactic to tackle violence and bring those responsible to justice.”
