Two Found Stabbed to Death in NW8 Murder Probe

Police were called to Ashbridge Street, NW8, at 9.34pm on Thursday, 19 August after welfare concerns for the occupants. Inside, officers discovered a 45-year-old woman with a fatal knife wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin are being traced, with formal identification still pending.

Man Found Dead in Nearby Home Hours Later

Just after 2am on Friday, 20 August, a man with a knife injury was reported at a property on Jerome Crescent, also NW8. Paramedics confirmed the 59-year-old man was dead on arrival.

His family have been informed and are receiving support. Formal ID is awaited.

Homicide Investigation Underway – No Arrests Yet

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley is leading the murder enquiry. He urged witnesses to come forward:

“Our thoughts are with the victims’ families at this devastating time. We are keeping an open mind on the motive but are currently treating the two stabbings as linked.”

“If you saw anything suspicious around Ashbridge Street or Jerome Crescent overnight, please get in touch – even if you think your info is small or insignificant.”

Westminster Police Commander Detective Chief Superintendent Owain Richards added:

“We understand that residents will be shocked. Crime scenes remain in place, and extra officers are patrolling to provide reassurance.”

“If you have concerns, speak to local officers or call 101 with reference 7227/19AUG.”

Post-mortems will be arranged soon. Police stress there have been no arrests at this time.
