Drunk football fan racially abuses and attacks stewards at England game

Jack Scotter, 27, from Plumstead, was the nightmare fan at the England vs Switzerland match on March 26. Intoxicated and out of control, he was booted out of the stadium. But the trouble didn’t end there.

Violent rampage outside the stadium

Once outside, Scotter launched into a horrific attack. He racially abused stewards and unleashed a savage assault on four of them – punching, kicking, head-butting, and even spitting on his victims. The violence escalated as he kicked and spat in the eye of a police officer and head-butted another.

Justice served: Jail for racist attacker

At Harrow Crown Court on December 9, Scotter faced the music. He pleaded guilty to four counts of racially aggravated common assault and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker. The judge didn’t hold back – Scotter was sentenced to 13 months behind bars.
