Cop PC Adnan Ali Charged with Shocking Sex Abuse and Corruption
In a major police scandal, 34-year-old PC Adnan Ali from Trafford faces serious charges after a lengthy investigation into corruption and sexual misconduct.

The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) handed the investigation to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), which oversaw the inquiry. The Major Incident Team and GMP’s Professional Standards Branch carried out the probe under IOPC direction.
Charges Officially Laid
In July 2021, after the investigation wrapped and evidence was passed to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), PC Ali was formally charged with:
- 15 counts of misconduct in public office
- Five counts of sexual assault
- Distribution of an indecent image of a child
He is set to appear before Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on 5 August 2021.
