Midnight Madness Ends in Mayhem on Kent’s Station Road

Hit-and-Run Horror in Faversham

Kent Police rushed to Station Road at 12:25am on Saturday, 12 November 2022, after a car ploughed into two men. Emergency crews treated one man for serious head injuries before rushing him to a London hospital, where he remains in a critical yet stable condition. The second victim also received medical care at a local hospital.

Suspects Nabbed at A299 Services

Just after 2am, officers stopped a Vauxhall Corsa at the A299 services in Faversham. Inside were three men and a woman, all taken into custody. Anthony Deeprose, 29, from Beecholme Drive, Ashford, was charged on Sunday with an array of offences including two counts of attempted murder, assault by beating, failing to stop after collision, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.

Court and Custody Drama

Deeprose was remanded in custody and is set to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on 14 November. Two men, aged 21 and 35 and also arrested, were bailed until 6 February 2023. The woman who was detained was later released without charge.
