Midnight Bust in Folkestone: Drugs and Cocaine Supplier Nabbed
Police Patrol Stops Dangerous Driver
Just after midnight on Thursday 25 April 2024, two local response officers spotted a car dangerously veering into oncoming traffic on St Peter’s Road in Folkestone. The vehicle was promptly stopped for a search.
Class A Drugs Seized on the Spot
The search uncovered multiple bags of suspected Class A drugs, including cannabis. Officers seized the haul immediately, cracking down hard on illegal substances in the area.
Manchester Woman Charged with Drug Supply
Following further investigations, 28-year-old Desislava Bancheva, of Carlton Road, Manchester, was charged the same day with possession of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of cannabis, and failing to provide a sample for analysis when requested.
Remanded and Facing Crown Court
Ms Bancheva appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 26 April. She was remanded in custody and is set to face Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday 28 May.
