Kent Police stormed a Blean home on the morning of Tuesday 19 September 2023. Officers uncovered a stash including multiple mobile phones, SIM cards, laptops, and a bag-for-life packed with cannabis buds. They also found digital scales, a wad of cash, a knuckleduster, and a bag of suspected cocaine.

Paul Moat Arrested and Charged

Detectives from Margate CID arrested Paul Moat, 34, from Bourne Lodge Close, Blean. He faces serious charges: possession of 233 grams of cocaine and 1.4 kilos of cannabis, both with intent to supply, plus possession of a knuckleduster.

Court Appearance and Next Steps

Moat appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 September. He was remanded in custody and will next face Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 23 October.
