Top Drug Dealer Kyle Rigley Jailed for Four Years After Swindon Crackdown

Swindon Crime Boss Busted

Kyle Rigley, 28, from Swindon, has been locked up for four years after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. The sentence came down on Monday (February 8) at Swindon Crown Court, ending Rigley’s reign in a major drug supply ring.

Rigley’s arrest was part of a 2018 crackdown by the Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU), which uncovered a Swindon-based network trading in dangerous Class A drugs linked to a Bristol operation.

Inside the Drug Ring

The case first surfaced in May 2019 when Rigley pleaded guilty but was remanded while other gang members awaited trial. A Newton hearing in January 2021 helped the judge decide the scale of each man’s involvement in the conspiracy.

Previously jailed in May 2020 were Ashley Hunt, 31, of Chipping Sodbury, and Nicholas Bullock, 31, from Kingswood, both key players in the drug ring.

Hard-Hitting Police Message

“Rigley was one of the leaders of this Swindon-based operation selling Class A drugs. To reach people like this, further up the drug dealing chain, is a good result,” said Detective Sergeant Neil Hilton, who led the investigation.

“This sentencing reflects the hard work of our team and intelligence from the public. We linked multiple drug lines to Rigley, who then revealed the Bristol end of the operation.

“If you deal in Class A drugs, we will target you and your gang and prosecute you. Illegal drug dealing harms the whole community — innocent people and users alike.”

Call on the Public to Help Fight Crime

DS Hilton urged locals to report any suspicious activity or unexplained wealth. “Help us build intelligence by calling 101 or 999 if a crime is happening. Together, we can shut down dealers and protect our communities.”
