Young Drug Dealer Locked Up After Tamworth Stop
Lyndon Sadler, 18, from Kettlebrook Road, was slapped with a seven-year sentence at Stafford Crown Court. The drama unfolded after police stopped a Citroen C4 on the A4091 in Tamworth just after midday on 15 April.
Drugs, Weapons and Phones Found in Car and Home Blitz
Sitting in the passenger seat, Sadler was caught with snap seal bags, electronic scales, a burner phone, an iPhone, and cannabis labels – clear signs of drug dealing. But the nightmare didn’t end there.
A raid at Sadler’s Kettlebrook Road home uncovered MDMA tablets and cannabis worth around £3,600. Police also seized a deadly arsenal: machetes, knives, a crossbow, a baseball bat, and a disguised stun gun. Shotgun cartridges were stashed in the loft.
Guilty Plea and Tough Sentencing
Sadler admitted to possession with intent to supply MDMA and cannabis. He was also convicted of owning an offensive weapon – an electrical incapacitation device.
Detective Inspector Tim Boulton said: “We’re glad Sadler has been sentenced and these dangerous weapons will now be destroyed. It was good detective work that led to this vehicle stop and a search that resulted in Sadler’s jail time and the destruction of these weapons and drugs.”
Sadler will serve his sentence at a Young Offenders’ Institution (YOI).
