Teen Charged After Months of Vile Attacks on Canterbury Street

Kent Police were bombarded with reports from March to October 2021 of food, bottles, and glass hurled at a home on Sturry Road, Canterbury. Residents also faced a barrage of abusive shouts.

16-Year-Old Girl Arrested for Stalking and Witness Intimidation

After a thorough probe, a 16-year-old Canterbury girl has been charged with stalking causing alarm or distress. She also faces charges for intimidating a witness on 25 October.

The unnamed girl appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 28 October. She was granted bail with strict conditions and must return to Medway Youth Court on 1 November.

Kent Police understands the impact that anti-social behaviour can have on victims’ quality of life and well-being,” said Inspector Guy Thompson of Canterbury Community Safety Unit.

“I urge anyone suffering from similar behaviour to get in touch with us. We will investigate and take all necessary action.”
