Fatal Stabbing Sparks Chilling Hunt for Missing Woman

Gareeca Gordon, 28, stabbed Phoenix Netts, 28, to death at their shared home in Birmingham on April 16 last year. The court heard Gordon snapped days after demanding a sexual relationship and turning violent when Ms Netts refused.

Dismembered Body Dumped in Suitcases

In a grim twist, Gordon used a circular saw to chop up the victim’s body. She then made several trips to the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, hiding the remains in suitcases to cover her tracks.

Justice Served: Life Sentence Handed Down

Today, Bristol Crown Court sentenced Gordon to life behind bars. She must serve at least 23 years and six months before parole is considered.
