Man in 20s Left Fighting for Life After Brutal Blunt Weapon Attack in Nottingham
Police were called to Mansfield Road, Nottingham, at around 3.20am today after reports of a savage assault.
Victim Seriously Injured in Early Morning Attack
A man in his twenties suffered severe facial injuries after being attacked with blunt weapons. He remains in stable condition in hospital following the sustained and violent assault.
Two Arrested Over ‘Great Bodily Harm’ Charge
Two men, aged 41 and 38, have been arrested on suspicion of causing great bodily harm. They are currently in police custody as detectives continue their investigation.
Detectives Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The assault happened near the junction of Fulforth Street and Mansfield Road. Detective Constable Alan Prentice of Nottinghamshire Police urged anyone who witnessed or heard the attack to come forward.
“This was a violent and sustained assault that left a young man in hospital with significant injuries. We’re working hard to find out exactly what happened and would like to hear from any witnesses, especially drivers with dashcam footage from the area,” said DC Prentice.
