Man Exposed Himself to Woman in Nottingham City Centre
Police were called to Castle Gate in Nottingham at around 12:20am on January 12, 2023, after a man approached a woman walking home.
Before she could push him away, the man exposed himself.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Assem Elmaghraby, 22, from Maid Marion Way, Nottingham, has been charged with exposure. He is set to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on February 2, 2023.
Police Respond Rapidly to Disturbing Incident
“I am pleased we have charged a suspect because this was an extremely upsetting incident for the victim,” said Detective Sergeant Lisa Jones of Nottinghamshire Police. “Officers are still there for her.”
“Nottinghamshire Police treats all offences of this nature extremely seriously. We arrested a suspect within 48 hours of the incident being reported.”
