Teen Girl Killed in Shocking Sittingbourne Crash
Collision detectives are hunting for witnesses after a tragic pedestrian death in Sittingbourne.
A 16-year-old girl died on 4 November 2020 following a hit-and-run on the A2 Canterbury Road near Murston Road junction.
How It Happened
The teen was crossing Canterbury Road from Rectory Road when a silver Vauxhall Zafira struck her at about 6.25pm on 1 November.
She was rushed to hospital with serious injuries but sadly passed away three days later.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit want to hear from anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam or CCTV footage but hasn’t spoken to officers yet.
