Girl, 10, Escapes After Man Gropes Her on Scooter Path
A terrifying attack on a young schoolgirl was narrowly avoided when she fought off a man who grabbed her waist as she played on her scooter.
Incident in Broad Daylight
At around 3.15pm on Thursday 22 April 2021, a primary school-aged girl was riding her push scooter near Elm Place. Two men suddenly appeared from Beaver Lane. As the girl bent down to pick up her scooter, one of the men put his hands on her waist. Thankfully, she kicked out and managed to run away unharmed.
Suspects on the Run
- Man 1: Mid-twenties, brown or ginger hair swept to one side.
- Wore all dark clothing – long-sleeved hooded top, tracksuit bottoms, black trainers, and a face mask.
- Had a tattoo on his left hand.
- Fled down an alleyway leading to Cryol Road.
- Man 2: Also dressed all in black with a fabric face mask.
- Slim build, seen leaving towards Deans Walk.
