E-Fit Released After Shocking Attempt to Snatch Boy in Yeovil
Police have issued an e-fit following a terrifying incident in Yeovil where a man tried to grab an eight-year-old boy as he walked to school with his mum.
Terrifying Moment on Cedar Grove
It happened around 8.30am on March 6. The boy was walking alongside his mother, who was pushing a buggy with another child, when a car pulled up beside them on Cedar Grove.
The man inside then tried to yank the boy away. Thankfully, his mum held on tight and screamed for help.
Suspect Makes Clean Getaway in Dirty White Car
The man fled in a “dirty white” car with tinted rear windows, heading towards Preston Road. Police are hunting him.
Description and Appeal for Information
The woman described the man as aged 30 to 40, about 5ft 8ins tall, medium build with broad shoulders,” said an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson. “He had olive brown skin, dark hair styled in a quiff, and a beard.”
