WANTED: Sex Offender on the Loose in Woolwich
The Met Police are hunting Christopher Reid, 44, from Woolwich. Reid was jailed for 13 years back in 2002 for rape and robbery. He’s also on the sex offenders register for life.
Disappeared After Bail
Reid was arrested in December 2018 for breaking his notification rules. He was bailed from Bromley Magistrates’ Court and vanished shortly after. His current whereabouts are unknown.
Police Urge Caution and Public Help
Reid is wanted for breaching his sex offender notification requirements and failing to show up in court. Detectives have tried to track him down but need the public’s help.
“Due to the nature of the offences he is wanted for, we would ask members of the public not to approach him,” said Met Police.
